Linda is back in New York and is taking a bit of a break. The Los Angeles premiere of "Half Past Dead" is on November 5th and Linda will probably go out for it. From what I hear, the picture is "testing" well.As for new projects, Linda wants to stay close to home this year as it is Trevor's last year before he goes to University, so nothing immediate. There are a couple of things being talked about ( In the UK) for next year, but the priority this year is Trev.
We'll let you know how things progress.
Keep well and happy.

A CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR MESSAGE from Linda - 25th December 2001....
I'm finally back in New York at my house for Christmas after more than five months in England and Germany. I had a wonderful experience performing in the musical "Putting It Together" and then filming, "Half Past Dead", with Steven Seagal, in Berlin. The movie should be out around the autumn of next year. I played a Supreme Court Judge and Mr. Seagal is, of course, the hero and my hero in particular. You'll see why when you see the movie which I hope you will. This has been a difficult year for New York and for many other people in other places too. We've learned that we are vulnerabale to a single mad idea perpeptrated through the guise of religion. Once again we have to learn that no one idea is right for everyone. We have to respect one another and listen with interest and tolerance to one another's ideas. However when the ideas go astray, we need to be the first in line to point that out. America has learned that not everyone is fond of it's propensity to be everything to everyone. We shall never be the same and as hard as some here wish to give the acts of September 11th closure, they will find this may not be the best move. Deep and hard and slowly must we investigate the why of all that passed.
I am so lucky to be here with my love Gavin, my son Trevor and other members of our families. It is a blessing I do not take lightly. I hope this year has been a good one for some of you. I know it would be much to hope that no one has had difficulties. I simply remind you that there are good times and there are bad times. The good makes the bad bearable and the bad makes the good better. That's a quote from Jackie Kennedy Onassis. I thought she was a truly great woman of inestimable dignity. Be safe and well and keep smiling and hugging one another.
Happy holidays and big deep breaths in the New Year.
And remember, PATIENCE.
My love and blessings.

Hi Chris,
I flew over to the UK for the weekend "Putting it Together" finished in Chichester. It was a great show. I was only there for the weekend so I missed the "Lily Savage" show the following week. Linda went straight to Berlin for a coule of days filming on Steven Seagal's new movie. She arrived back in NY last week, so I'm going home this weekend. Linda leaves again for Berlin on thursday(25th) and will be shooting until mid December and then be home for Christmas! The Seagall script is an untypical action thriller. Linda plays a US Supreme Court judge who is kidnapped and then rescued by Seagal's character. It is a co-starring part, which is great! More later as it progresses.

Gavin

Hi Chris,
We're still here but are due to fly out tomorrow. There is a possibility that there is a theatre project here for Linda (If the agents can sort themselves out!) which would mean returning almost immediatly. Who Knows. Its all a mystery!! We will keep in touch and let you know what is happening.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for putting Linda's Christmas message up. We were in Barbados just before Christmas. Linda took the first introductory lessons in scuba diving. She really got into it and will be continuing the certification course in the near future. We are meeting with some old producer friends from the UK tomorrow, in Manhattan, and will be batting around some ideas for UK projects.
Keep in touch,

Gavin
A CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM LINDA JANUARY 2001.....
Hello dear people. I did intend to get to the computer in time to wish everyone a happy healthy Christmas but as usual family, cooking, shopping, wrapping, tree decorating etc. etc. got in the way of my plan. So here I am at last, thinking of you and hoping that your Christmas was as wonderful, emotional, and lucky as mine. Of course there were the usual family feuds, tears and ranting but it was all couched in laughter and singing and the sure knowledge that we are a family and the most fortunate of people. I did receive a very surprising gift. My son and his father were visiting Paris in the summer and were on the look-out for an old Paris Match with yours truly on the cover. They searched and searched all over, most particularly on the left bank in the specialty stores and were on the verge of giving up when they turned and saw the magazine blowing in the wind hanging from a newsstand right beside an old copy of Paris Match with John Lennon and Yoko Ono on the cover. They snapped a photo of the "scene" and had it framed for me. It was a very nostalgic present which I shall treasure. (They also bought the mag!) So let me say that although the "times, they are a changing", my love and gratitude for my loyal fans and supporters, throughout the world, never will.
You have kept the light of "Tara King" burning, for which no one could be happier than I. Keep your own lights bright and if you want to be happy, always think of the other guy first. Good luck in 2001 and remember, our time here is finite. Go with the flow. Love and warm affection.
Linda

Linda is in rehearsals for a new musical called "Say Yes". It will be premiering at the Main Stage at the Berkshire Theatre Festival, Aug 16. in Stockbridge, MA. The producers are showcasing it there as a Broadway tryout. This kind of musical is something new for Linda. She plays the Countess Borealis. (Aurora, of course.) The piece is set at the New York World's Fair of 1939.
Will keep in touch.
